Tschudi of Switzerland boards are made of multiple layers of acid and lignin free pulp, of an extremely high density. The board is made of 100% chlorine-free bleached cellulose, lignin free, without acid-forming chemicals or optical brightening agents, and buffered to a minimum pH of 8. Both sides have a fine textured finish for superior glue adhesion. The very high density of these boards allow for precision, square cuts and crisp corners. The 0.8mm boards are easily scored and cut, making them ideal for phase boxes and other enclosures.
This material is currently the board of choice for the British Library, and complies with the actual ANSI and DIN/ISO/BS norms. Actual calipers (thickness) are given in metrics, and conversions to inches are approximate.
All boards are 1m x 70cm (approx. 39" x 28") grain long.
Eterno boards have discontinued, limited thicknesses and quantities are still available.
