Filmoplast R

A high alpha-cellulose tissue coated on one side with an acid and solvent free heat activated acrylate copolymer adhesive. This tissue is used to line brittle papers to prevent further disentegration, spot mending of tears and filling in voids. Both the adhesive and paper are buffered with calcium carbonate to counter acids. The tissue can be applied with a tacking iron or in a heat press at 150 degrees F (66.56 degrees C): reversible with acetone or carefully reheating.
