This acid-free tape has an aggressive high tack self-adhesive backing with a fine threaded linen front.  

This product is often used for hinging hard covers to a book block, booking window matts to backing boards, or other applications where extreme strength and durability is needed. 

The adhesive is both acid and solvent-free and will not dry out or become brittle with age.
