Lascaux Acrylic Adhesives
Description
The Lascaux Restauro range of acrylic adhesives represent a versatile group of adhesives with excellent tack, flexibility, aging characteristics and removability.
The Lascaux 303 HV is a thermoplastic copolymer butyl-methacrylate dispersion thickened with acrylic butyl-ester. pH 8-9 and is biocide stabilized. Extremely elastic; the dry film remains permanently tacky. Can be used as a contact adhesive when doing hot-sealing linings. Water thinnable, insoluble in water when dry. Permanently soluble in acetone, toluene, xylene, etc. Insoluble in White sprints, V.M.&P. Naptha, etc. This product has replaced Lascaux 360.
The Lascaux 498 HV and 498-20X are the same adhesive, however the 20X is thinned with 20% xylene which makes for a faster drying adhesive. Both are well suited for strip-lining, fabric marouflage, mounting and hobby adhesive. Water thinnable, insoluble in water when dry. Permanently soluble in acetone, toluene, xylene, etc. Insoluble in White spirits, V.M.&P Naptha, etc.
