SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
- Most orders received by 11am EST will ship out the same business day.
- Orders placed with priority shipping methods (Next, 2nd, 3rd day) are shipped out the same business day if received before 2pm EST.
- After placing your order you will receive an e-mail verifying that your order was received and is being processed.
We recognize that as a professional, receiving your products in good condition is just as important as how quickly you receive them. All orders are carefully packed by hand with attention to detail. Smaller quantities of papers and larger materials may be shipped rolled to avoid damage to corners in transit and reduce costs. Flat packing for larger quantities of paper and heavier materials are many times done with rigid foam insulation to protect edges.
- Minimum shipping charge is $10.50 per package, $11.50 west of the Mississippi.
- Minimum shipping per rolled package (papers, fabrics, etc ship rolled) is $12.00, $13.00 west of the Mississippi.
- $2.50 additional residential delivery fee, $5 rural delivery fee may apply, as determined by FedEx and UPS zone charts.
- Shipping and handling of hazardous materials (some adhesives and solvents) are subject to a $40 handling fee by ground, and cannot be shipped by air. For example the handling fee by ground transport for four gallons of Agateen lacquer is $40, but the charge for one gallon Agateen lacquer and one gallon of Toluene would be $80.
We currently ship all international orders by FedEx. We can ship by the U. S. Postal Service at a customer's request but please note that upon delivery of the goods to the post office, the title passes to the recipient who then may be responsible for damage or non-delivery. The recipient is responsible for all applicable duties and taxes incurred on international shipping.
We are also not aware nor can we be held responsible for import restrictions to each and every country around the world. Please check with your local government to make sure the products you are ordering can be legally imported into your country.
All prices are current at time of publication but are subject to change without notice. Please write to us for large quantity price quotations and custom orders. All prices are in US currency and do not include applicable duties or taxes.
Prices are FOB New York City. Credit terms are available for public institutions and government agencies. Corporate accounts can be arranged, please request a credit application. Payments can be made by VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. We can also accept payment by wire transfer, or money order, please contact us for details. Foreign payments are subject to a $25.00 collection fee if not made in US dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee. Resale and exempt certificates for NY State sales taxes are honored providing a properly completed form accompanies order or is on file.
Wherever possible, shipment is made by ground service (UPS or Fed Ex ground). Their restrictions are 130" length and girth and 150lbs. per package. Oversized and large orders are sent by common carrier and guaranteed air service is provided by FedEx, DHL, etc. Restrictions on the shipment of hazardous materials are constantly changing. Remember, each hazardous material is subject to a $40.00 handling fee when shipped by Ground service, in addition to the freight charges that are calculated on the individual package. Accordingly, due to this charge, it is often economical to purchase larger quantities and ship less often. We cannot ship hazardous materials by air, either domestically or internationally. Please assess your needs accordingly.
DAMAGES & CLAIMS
We are not responsible for damages in transit although every effort is made to pack your order securely. Any visible damage should be noted when the package is signed for with the carrier. Notify the carrier of any concealed damage, request an inspection report and advise us. Shortages or discrepancies must be brought to our attention within 72 hours of receipt of goods.
All requests for returns are evaluated on an individual basis. Please order with the assistance of samples as colors and pictures online are not always represented correctly on computer monitors. A restocking charge of up to 15% may be required in addition to freight both ways. All cut merchandise such as fabric and custom-made products are non-returnable.
We are a professional supply house. We are not consultants and advise that prior to use all products be tested for suitability and the current literature be checked.
