These acid free boards set the standard for archival corrugated board (or archival cardboard).  We stock the greatest assortment of board types and sizes anywhere. 



Greatly exceeding the quality of other acid free cardboards available on the market today, and passing much more stringent testing for permanence than simply the Photo Activity Test (see certifications below).  Our boards are stiffer and are an ideal material for boxmaking and backer board.  They are perfect for all of your preservation and storage needs.



Corrugated board (or cardboard) is made from two sheets of paper glued to a corrugated inner medium called fluting. Corrugated boards are assembled in a way such that the overall result is far stronger than each distinct layer.



This multi-use acid free board is blue/gray on one side and white on the other, making it perfectly suited for framing, box making, and other types of enclosures where the objects can sit against a non-pigmented surface, while still maintaining the traditional blue/gray color on the outside.  This paper which the board is constructed provides the strongest and most rigid sheet on the market, while still maintaining superior folding characteristics.



Also great as support panels and work surfaces in conservation labs and printshops, and as shelf liners, dividers or as an artist's material.



Explanation of Board Types:

E-Flute (1.6mm, 1/16" thick).  The E-flute is a very thin corrugated board which means it folds wonderfully and makes beautiful boxes.  Commonly used on digital CAD cutters like the box machine we have here at TALAS.

E-PLUS Flute (1.7mm thick).  This board is similar to the regular E-flute, however the top layer of board is a heavier weight paper making the board much stronger and more rigid.  This board combines the toughness of a solid board with the folding characteristics of a corrugated board.

B-Flute (3mm thick, 1/8" thick)  This board is the "standard" and most commonly used all around board.  A B-Flute board is the same thickness as a standard brown shipping box is constructed with.

BB-Flute (6mm thick, 1/4" thick)  This board is our strongest and most rigid corrugated board.  The BB-flute is a double wall archival board made from essentially two layers of B-flute.
