Filmoplast P90 PLUS
Description
New to the Filmoplast line is the Filmoplast P 90 PLUS. While most other Filmoplast tapes were first designed for archives use the Filmoplast P90 Plus has been specifically designed for fine art hinging and framing. The adhesive used is a refined version of the original providing better initial as well as final bond strength while retaining the same stable aging characteristics.
The long fibered white paper (50 gsm) is acid free and buffered with calcium carbonate for a long lasting archival quality. The permanent acrylic adhesive is age resistant (non-yellowing) and solvent free to remain permanently elastic.
The tape has also passed the PAT test, ISO 18916 which is a test of accelerating aging.
It is tear-resistant and ideal for fixing photos and art prints to passe-partouts or rear mounts and for dust-proof fixing of the rear mount to the frame.
Rolls are 2cm x 50m (.75" x 164').
