After great experimentation with color and weight, Shepherds of England has produced a Machine Age compatible paper to simulate the paper used in books and literature during the machine age, 1850 and 1950. It is particularly suitable to replace broken or missing end papers, but is also extremely useful for printing and using where a 'period feel' is paramount.
This paper is made from beech, and is lignen free, internally sized and calcium carbonate buffered meaning it is an excellent choice for longevity in restoration and conservation. Also referred to as SMAC
