How to use:
Removal of white marks caused by heat or water
On surfaces that are only waxed, simply clean the surfaces with Wax and Polish Remover and Ultra Fine Steel Wool (0000). Once clean the surface can be re-waxed with Black Bison Fine Paste Wax.
On hard surface finishes such as French polishes, lacquers and varnishes the Ring Remover will easily and effectively remove the white marks. Apply using a clean, lint-free cotton cloth and rub vigorously in a circular motion over the mark until it is removed. Buff with a clean, dry cotton cloth and wax or polish as normal.
How to disguise or remove superficial surface scratches:
Many hard finishes such as French polishes or lacquers are prone to superficial scratches, which only show in a certain light. These can be either disguised or completely removed by waxing the surfaces with Black Bison Fine Paste Wax applied with Ultra Fine Steel Wool (0000), working with the grain of the wood. Allow to dry for 20 minutes, or until touch dry, and then buff with a clean cotton cloth or furniture brush, again working with the grain of the wood.
Filling nail holes, deep scratches, cracks and splits in wood:
Many holes and scratches can be filled using Liberon Retouch Crayons. Simply rub the crayon across and along the hole until it is filled, then buff off the excess wax with a clean cotton cloth.
How to remove finger marks from the wood
Furniture that has had many years of spray polishing may become sticky and prone to finger marking. To remove the sticky polish and finger marks simply clean the surface with Wax and Polish Remover and Ultra Fine Steel Wool (0000). Work with the grain of the wood and wipe dry. If necessary repeat the process. Once the surface is clean it can then be waxed using Black Bison Paste Wax in clear.
Always test products on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for color, compatibility and end results.
