Handmade in the US, Diane Bond, teacher and artisan, produces the finest selection of paste papers available with a contemporary flair. Her detail to pattern and coloration are notable in her craftsmanship.
The image is created by applying pigmented wheat paste directly to a paper surface, and then decorated with blocks, stippling, graining combs, etc. Pastepapers were most commonly found in books between the late 16th-18th century.
