TALAS is proud to offer a wide selection of custom archival storage boxes, all made in-house in Brooklyn, New York. "Custom" doesn't have to mean long lead times—we typically ship custom orders within 1-3 days.

We have no minimum quantity requirements and can accommodate any dimensions. Our custom boxes are crafted from our exclusive line of Heritage Corrugated Boards. Not sure which board to use? We're happy to consult with you.

At TALAS, we favor a lay-flat design over metal-edged boxes. This means your boxes will arrive flat, reducing shipping costs and making it easier to store unused boxes.

The lay-flat design also offers superior strength, with doubled-over corners compared to the butt joints found in metal-edged boxes.

Custom boxes require custom pricing, determined by box style, material, dimensions, and quantity. Email us, and we will be happy to provide you with a price estimate!

BULK LIBRARY ORDERS

We understand that orders come in all shapes and sizes. Did you know that we also offer made-to-order unique options for bulk library orders? It's as easy as measuring your objects, saving the dimensions in an Excel spreadsheet, and emailing it to us. We handle the rest! The boxes will arrive numbered according to your spreadsheet, making sorting easy upon receipt.

BOX STYLES

Below is a list of our custom box designs. Typically we recommend our T03 Clamshell box for smaller items like books and pamphlets and our T16 or T12 two-piece boxes for larger items like prints or collectibles. For thinner items the T05 slipcase or TF1 or TF11 phase folders are great options.
