Shipping And Delivery

We understand that you want your orders fast, and most orders received by 11am EST will ship out the same business day. Orders placed with priority methods (Next Day, 2nd, or 3rd Day) are typically shipped out the same business day if received before 1pm EST.

We recognize that as a professional, receiving your products in good condition is just as important as how quickly you receive them. All orders are carefully packed by hand with attention to detail.

Paper, Fabric & Custom Jobs

Paper, cut materials (such as fabric) and custom jobs are not returnable.

Smaller quantities of papers and larger materials may be shipped rolled to avoid damage to corners in transit and to reduce costs. Flat packing for larger quantities of paper and heavier materials are many times done with rigid foam insulation to protect edges.

We can typically accommodate special packaging requests, but require that they be arranged prior to placing your order. Please email us at support@talasonline.com. If you do not make a special request, then our shipping team will determine the best means of shipping (rolled or flat).


Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return or exchange on paper, cut merchandise like bookcloth and custom-made products. Customers are responsible for shipping costs on any returns or exchanges. All returns are subject to a restocking fee.

To initiate a return, please contact us to receive a return authorization. We then ask that a copy of the RA is shipped with the returned merchandise to:

Out Of Stock

It is rare that any TALAS products are out of stock, and we will make every effort to ship your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. At times we may hold an order back from shipping if we are out of stock on an item which we are expecting to arrive soon, eliminating a backorder and additional shipping charges. However if an order is needed right away please let us know - the more information you can provide us the better we can serve your needs. Please note that weekends and holidays do not count as delivery days for fulfillment or delivery of orders. Additional shipping charges are charged on backorders.

International Shipping

International orders are sent by FedEx and USPS. Available shipping options to your provided address will be quoted during the checkout process.

Applicable duties and taxes are additional to the amount being charged for the items and shipping, and will be billed directly to you by FedEx or the Post when the order passes through customs in your respective country.

Due to the technical and complex nature of our inventory we are not aware nor can we be held responsible for import restrictions to each and every country around the world. Please check with your local government to make sure the products you are ordering can be legally imported into your country. Many times animal based glues, natural hair brushes, electrically powered devices, and other items have import restrictions, but these restrictions vary to every country around the world.

Damages and Claims

We are not responsible for damages in transit although every effort is made to pack your order securely. Any visible damage to package should be noted, and photographed when possible, when the package is signed for with the carrier. Notify the carrier of any concealed damage, request an inspection report and advise us. Shortages or discrepancies must be brought to our attention within 72 hours of receipt of goods.
