Finishing Press #1

Our heaviest and most robust press. Made of maple hardwood sourced from New England, and handmade in the USA with a clear poly finish. The 45 degree cutout between the threads allows for easier working properties and clearance for tools and hands around the spine of the book. These presses feature all wood spindles, with a removable set screw that allows the press to be disassembled for shipping and storage.

Press has 18 inches of clearance between the threads. Jaws are 3.5 x 3.5 inch maple blocks, and the press has an overall width of 25 inches.
