These sleeves are designed to comfortably hold a CD, and will slow the deterioration of a CD due to corrosive gasses in the environment. Allows for denser storage than typical CD jewel cases.
Corrosion Intercept provides superior protection for silver, brass, ferrous metals, copper, bronze and non-ferrous metals. Used by museums to protect a variety of items such as metal artifacts, copper and bronze sculptures, silver coins, etc. It has also been used to protect textiles, paper documents, books and works of art on paper and has the ability to prevent the development of mold.
Composed of a polymer matrix to which copper particles are bonded forming a reactive film that neutralizes all corrosive gases that come in contact. Suitable for the storage of non-ferrous metals and shown to greatly improve the life of conventional CD's.
