Fil Au Chinois Waxed Linen Thread

This beautiful French linen thread is made from 100% linen fibers which are harvested and spun in Europe, and available in 44 amazing colors and in beautifully packaged small quantity spools!

The linen thread is manufactured using a cabling process where the linen is assembled a second time. moistened and re-twisted. This moistening prevents the linen fibers from distorting and increases strength and resistance, giving the thread a nice round profile. It is finished and polished with a small amount of wax, not thick and gloppy like cheaper waxed threads.

Available in 0.77mm diameter thread thickness, in 15m cards.
