Modostuc

MODOSTUC is a white paste filler formulated for the application on wood, but it is also compatible with ceramic, porcelain, walls, etc. It allows accurate restoration of both new and antique furniture, window and door frames. It is also widely used in the reconstruction of missing parts of frames and woodworks, even in wood or chalk sculptures. Modostuc can also be treated with finish varnishes, such that touch-up becomes totally invisible. Can be tinted with iron oxide pigments, universal & water colorants. Iron oxides work the best, as the other options can cause some compatibility problems if the object will be covered with varnishes after its restoration. In some cases, the varnish is not compatible with the dye and it changes the filler's color. Always test the product before application.
