Description
Pescia is a wonderful printmaking paper and a favorite among those doing intaglio, messotint, aquatint, etching, woodblock, stone litho, etching and silkscreen. Its supple surface is also ideal for all drawing techniques and should not be overlooked as an option for graphite, colored pencil, pastel or charcoal. Also suitable as a heavier weight paper for pages in handmade photo albums and sketch books.
The paper is smooth and supple to the touch with internal sizing but very little surface sizing, making it ideal for all deluxe and demanding printmaking processes. Magnani Pescia Paper is mouldmade in Italy from 100% cotton. It is chlorine-free, with neutral pH.
Please note:Sheets can vary between having two natural deckles and two tear deckles, two tear deckles and no deckles at all.
