Description
A thick paste in red, yellow or black, consisting of powder mixed with water to form a clay like material.
It is used as a coloring material, as well as on surfaces to be gilt, and the edges of books to which gold is to be applied. In the latter two applications it serves as a base for the gold and will provide greater depth of color and luster.
Comes in a ready to use formula. Made by Le Franc & Bourgeois.
