Gilder's Mop

The finest gilders dusting mop brushes handmade in France from pure squirrel bristle in an oval shape used to remove excess gold after gilding. These brushes are used in a soft swirling motion gently over the leaf to remove excess leaf without rubbing. The brushes can also be used for applying mica powders over gold size by dipping the mop into the powder.
