Escal Neo Oxygen Barrier Film

Escal Neo is a high performance barrier film used in preventative conservation applications to control moisture and oxygen levels inside a sealed enclosure. It is a multi laminate film with ultra high moisture and oxygen barrier properties and is semi transparent; ideal for short and long term microclimate enclosures. Escal Neo is coated with a ceramic polyvinyl alcohol film with no plasticizers (polypropylene (OPP\Silica deposited PVAL \ LLDPE). Film can be Manufactured by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical company in Japan.

The mitigation rates of Escal Neo film are:

Moisture: 0.01 g/m2.day @ 25 degrees C 60% RH.

Oxygen: 0.05 cc/m2.day.atm @ 25 degrees Celcius 60% RH.<br><br>

Film thickness: 115 um.

Material is 100cm wide (approx 39 inches) and sold in various length rolls.
