Kitakata paper is a stunning Japanese semi-handmade paper made from 90% Phillipine gampi and 10% Sulphite Pulp/ Kitakata paper is often used in restoration and bookbinding because of it's strength. It is also an excellent choice for printmaking, chine colle, relief printing, lithography, wood engraving, letterpress and block printing. It is suitable for a variety of uses and can be used with oil or water based ink.
Kitakata papers reflect the beautiful traditional art of Japan. The work of art shines on the paper and adds to the richness of the Japanese paper. Kitakata Paper is acid free.
