Desi Pak Bags
Description
These bags contain a high performing, natural bentonite clay Desiccant used to protect items from moisture damage such as mold, mildew, and corrosion. They are used to draw humidity out of the air, making for a drier environment suitable for the storage of art, and reducing the possibility of mold growth. Each tyvek bag is 3" x 4" and contains 1oz (28 grams) of clay, making them perfect for putting into plastic bags, display cases, picture frames, or any sealed enclosure to control humidity. Each bag when starting from a completely baked dry state is estimated to control 0.83 cubic feet of space.
These clay packs are more environmentally friendly than silica, and the material inside can be composted. They can also be reconditioned in an oven set to 245 degrees Farenheit for 16 hours.
