Sepp Gilding Primer

Gilding primer is an oil based primer for use on wood, plaster, metal, and composition surfaces that are intended to be gilded with all kinds of leaf. It seals the surface and provides an excellent base for leaf adhesive or gilding size. It also may be used as a base under mica posders. Gilding primer provides a base color to hide any minute flaws that may appear in the gilded surface.
